Cold War plane honored
A British Cold War plane that soared through the skies with speeds of more than 1,500mph has received its own "medal of honour" in Lancashire.Former pilots and staff who worked on the English Electric Lightning will be reunited with the plane at its current home at BAE Systems in Warton.
The award came from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
