Hello All Veterans and Citizen Friends of Veterans –


 

Please keep  March 4, 2012 clear on your calendar and plan to attend the Veterans Appreciation Day 124 Anniversary Celebration to honor the  benevolent Land Grantors, Senator John P. Jones and Arcadia  B. Baker, who donated 600 acres of land in the Deed of 1888,

 

 "to be permanently maintained as a National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers," which includes all honorably discharged Veterans.   

 

The National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers," is to be maintained in perpetuity" on what is now known as the GLA VA West Los Angeles Campus.
