Summary of Legislation to be discussed:
H.R. 2433: The Veterans Opportunity to Work Act of 2011— To amend Title 38, United States Code, to make certain improvements in the laws relating to the employment and training of veterans, and for other purposes.
H.R. 1941: To improve the provision of Federal transition, rehabilitation, vocational, and unemployment benefits to members of the Armed Forces and veterans, and for other purposes.
H.R. 169: Directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to include on the main page of the website of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) a hyperlink with a drop-down menu titled "Veterans Employment" that includes a direct hyperlink to the VetSuccess website, USA Jobs website, Job Central website, and any other appropriate employment websites, especially those that focus on jobs for veterans.
