An Army diver from Fort Eustis, Va., descends to the former Soviet submarine Juliett 484 at the bottom of Providence River, R.I., June 7, 2008. Army divers are exploring ways to raise the sub, which sank in about 30 feet of water during a Nor'easter that struck the area April 2007.
