VFF Update

Introducing a New Nationwide Corporate Mentoring Program for Returning Veterans

Greetings Vets for Freedom Member,

As a resident of New York, Vets for Freedom would like to introduce you to American Corporate Partners (ACP). Vets for Freedom is proud to promote ACP’s efforts to provide veterans with opportunities to build relationships and open doors through professional development alongside Corporate America.

ACP has created a program for veterans, at no cost, which provides participants with mentorship from high-level executives in Corporate America. VFF feels you will benefit from this opportunity should you choose to participate as you transition to the private sector from the armed forces.

The following is a list of cities and organizations that are participating in the program:

  1. Atlanta: Home Depot / GE
  2. Chicago: Pepsi
  3. Cincinnati: GE
  4. Dallas: Verizon / Pepsi
  5. Houston: GE
  6. New York City: Morgan Stanley
  7. Norwalk, CT: Campbell
  8. Philadelphia: Campbell / Verizon
Please see the snapshot of the ACP website below with an introduction by ACP Chief Operating Officer and veteran, Christie Cowart.

Those of you who sign up for ACP’s corporate mentorship program will be asked how you were notified of the program, please indicate that you heard about the program from Vets for Freedom.

If you have any questions please contact ACP directly at http://www.acp-usa.org.

With Confidence,
