Sean,

For the fifth straight year, Sport Clips Haircuts is helping make phone calls home possible for deployed and hospitalized U.S. service members through its "Help a Hero" campaign, benefitting VFW Operation Uplink.

Beginning October 17 through November 13, more than 800 Sport Clips locations nationwide will raise funds to continue to provide service members with free phone time once a month and on holidays throughout the year.

"This is a remarkable expression of gratitude to all the brave men and women of our Armed Forces by hundreds of respective Sport Clips franchise owners, managers, enthusiastic employees and Sport Clips patrons. Our thanks go out to everyone involved with this wonderful and magnanimous endeavor," said Richard L. DeNoyer, VFW Commander-in-Chief.

Donations to "Help A Hero" are being collected in-store and through individual store fundraising events. For more information, visit http://www.sportclips.com/help-a-hero.html.

On Veterans Day, November 11, this major effort will culminate with "The Biggest Haircut Day of the Year" cut-a-thon. On that day, the company will donate a dollar for every haircut given in its stores. Show your support for troops and veterans by getting your next haircut at Sport Clips.

Sport Clips hopes to raise $500,000 or more to provide thousands of minutes of free phone time during the upcoming holiday season. This is the fifth year the company has undertaken a Veterans Day campaign. Their generosity—and that of their patrons—has already delivered 1.3 million calls for America's defenders.

Forward to Your Friends
