Getting America’s Veterans Back to Work
WASHINGTON, D.C.—On Thursday, December 15, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 334 of the Cannon House Office Building, the Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity (EO) will hold a hearing to review the implementation of the VOW to Hire Heroes Act of 2011. As one of the few jobs-focused pieces of legislation to be signed into law this year, the Subcommittee will ensure that the intent of the law is being properly executed to ensure America's veterans can receive the training promised to be competitive in today's job market.
The Committee will be taking questions for the panelists via Twitter. Please tweet questions to @HouseVetAffairs. The hearing will be streamed live at Veterans.House.Gov.
