New "veteran" Driver's License in Mississippi

Mississippi has become the 16th state to honor our veterans with a special driver's license. The new license will have a flag with the word "veteran" imprinted on it. Veterans will have to provide verifying documentation from the Mississippi Veterans Affairs Board before they go to their local driver's license station for the new license. Veterans who want the license before the normal renewal period must pay the replacement fees. For more information, visit the Mississippi Veterans Affairs Board website.

For complete guides to all veterans benefits, visit the Military.com Benefits Center.
